In 1928 Pennsylvania, Billy Kelly, a sixteen-year-old boy, encounters Doctor Reese, a mysterious traveler who professes to be a messenger of God. Drawn to Reese’s charisma, Billy becomes ensnared in his sinister plot for murder.
