A group of high school students are enjoying a weekend near Hollywood Hills in 1983 when they encounter Sam, the school outcast, on his way home. Desperate to win the attention of Jenny, one of the prettiest girls in school—and the girlfriend of Biff, the school’s bully and quarterback—Sam agrees to a cruel challenge. Biff and his friends dare Sam to prove his courage by entering an old, abandoned amusement park, with Jenny as the prize. But when Jenny follows Sam inside, they embark on a night neither will ever forget.
