A young film student pitches his bizarre movie, Lobster Man From Mars, to a desperate producer seeking a tax write-off. The film features Mars losing air, prompting the Lobster Man to invade Earth to steal its atmosphere. His plan is thwarted by a mad scientist, a girl, and an army colonel.
