Shinobu Takamura, an aspiring painter, is accused of using counterfeit money despite being home when the crime occurred. Police Officer Kanou takes her to meet a group of people facing the same problem: each of them has a doppelganger that looks and behaves exactly like them. They call this mysterious phenomenon “bilocation.”
