Virginia Wainwright returns to a private school after surviving a deadly accident and regenerative brain surgery. Her friends are being murdered one by one, and soon there will be no one left to attend her 18th birthday party. Virginia suffers from memory loss and traumatic blackouts as she tries to remember the nightmarish accident that caused her injuries. As we learn more about what happened before her birthday party, we discover the horrible truth behind her accident.
